    Martijn Diepenhorst

    Partner Plus One Legal, Administrative Law and Permitting for Events and Media

    Forget Saul. Martijn Diepenhorst is the go-to lawyer when it comes to permits for events and festivals.
    Better call Martijn - he is Legal advisor to a wide range of music festivals and events in the Netherlands, from household names to emerging initiatives.

    Martijn also advises media organizations on the permits required for on-location filming of television and film productions, access to public government information, and subsidy regulations.

    He is a no-nonsense, hands-on advisor who supports our clients with dedication in their legal dealings with government authorities.

    A lawyer since 2005, Martijn brings over twelve years of experience in permit procedures and administrative law for events, festivals, and media. He works in close collaboration with a broad network of trusted, specialized advisors across all relevant fields related to event permitting.

    Bjorn Schipper

    Partner at Plus One Legal, Media & Entertainment Law and Intellectual Property

    Bjorn Schipper was, so to speak, born and raised on the dancefloor.
    Since 2001, he has been a dedicated and passionate entertainment lawyer, specializing in intellectual property law.
    It’s no coincidence that Amsterdam’s former Night Mayor once called him the “Nightlife Laywer.”

    Bjorn wrote his thesis on copyright protection for turntable art.In a groundbreaking case concerning equitable remuneration for playing commercial phonograms at dance events, he represented dance organizers before the Dutch Supreme Court – and even played a white-label Italo track during his oral argument.

    He is also co-founder of The Nightlife Clerks, an informal network of like-minded professionals committed to nightlife culture.
    Bjorn is a sought-after speaker, panelist, host, and lecturer in the fields of media, entertainment, and intellectual property law.

    Start: We zijn doorlopend op zoek naar stagiaires, momenteel zoeken wij specifiek naar studenten om te starten in het aankomende voorjaar óf vanaf september 2026

    Plus One Legal is een boutique advocatenkantoor dat bestaat uit een sectie intellectueel eigendom en een sectie bestuursrecht, waarmee een totaalpakket voor cliënten in de muziek- en evenementenindustrie wordt geboden. Als stagiair(e) draai je mee in een klein, betrokken team waarbij je kennis maakt met de toepassing van het bestuursrecht in een maatschappelijk relevante sector.

    Wie ben jij?
    Je volgt een universitaire studie- of hbo-opleiding rechten
    Je bevindt je in de afrondende fase van je studie, bij voorkeur ben je al gestart met een master bestuursrecht
    Je hebt interesse in het omgevingsrecht
    Affiniteit met de festival- en muziekindustrie is een pré
